Emily is a civic design researcher at The Lab at OPM where she partners with agencies across the federal government to re-imagine services, programs, and products.

Previously, she was a design researcher at The Design Thinking Lab at Ci3 at the University of Chicago where she used a participatory and equity-focused approach to build digital and analog products and services that advanced adolescent sexual and reproductive models of care.

Emily also served as co-chair on AIGA Chicago’s Community Engagement Committee tacking on design initiatives for the climate crisis and how to navigate voting. Off the clock, you can find her freelancing on a passion project, tinkering with clay, or cuddling with her cute cat.

Additional work and resume is available upon request.
